Facebook has reached a milestone, with more than one billion people using it month by month.
According to the report from M&M, users from Mark Zuckerbergs’s social networking site are responsible for 1.13 trillion ‘likes’, 219 billion photos and 17 billion location check-ins.
Other milestone reached by the social network: there are now 600 million users accessing the site via Mobile device.
Facebook future depends on their expansion towards emerging markets to build its user base further. In places like China and Russia there are local competitors that still remain as the online networking tool of choice.
